I've upgraded to 13.10 from 13.04 and I had some devices saved for my bluetooth but I can't connect them now.
The bluez also doesn't find any new bluetooth devices.

syslog looks very similar to the previous ones posted, bluetooth is 'on' according the the gui and rfkill:
