You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I use Ubuntu 12.04 (updated 2013.02.01)

The bluetooth chipset used is a broadcom 2070

I use the Bluetooth setting UI to connect a Keyboard Bluetooth 3.0 (Broadcom20730 chip)
Bluetooth HID 2.0-> encryption is mandatory
Try with 3 keyboards(Logitech K760, Logitech K810 and Logitech Bluetooth® Easy-Switch Keyboard)

The pairing fail each time

I try the same but I use the cmd line (not the bluetooth wizard) to pair the keyboard
bluez-simple-agent hci0 xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

and this time all work correctly, the keyboard is encrypted, paired,
connected and working.

** Affects: bluez (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
