On a clean install of 12.20 onto the latest Macbook Air I am
experiencing the same symptoms with the inbuilt bluetooth module.  Two
others at my location have the same hardware and also experiencing this
issue.  Although I haven't tried it, my understanding is that there were
no issues with 12.04 on this hardware.
