This is still not fixed in 12.04 LTS: Logitech MX5500 Revolution does
not work after booting the system, rendering the system dead for the
non-tech-savy user and is just plain and simple a game-killer (bug-
importance: Undecided / Medium???). Replugging the BT receiver is not an
honest option.

BTW: The title is misleading: Not only Apple is affected and I have no
idea about "Dapper/Edgy/Feisty", if this has been going on for six
years, "everything" seems more inclusive.
