You have been subscribed to a public bug:

One of the bluetooth tests failed, and checkbox asked me to create a
logfile using hcidump and attach it. However, hcidump is not installed
by defaul, and typing hcidump in a terminal does not suggest the package
in which it can be found. I eventually found that hcidump is located in
the package 'bluez-hcidump'.

I've attached a screenshot of the checkbox window that asks to use hcidump, I would change it to something like:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install bluez-hcidump && sudo hcidump >logfile

or maybe suggest the user install bluez-hcidump from the software center
to make it less daunting.
