For oneiric there is a discrepancy with the changelog:
bluez (4.96-1) unstable; urgency=low
[...]
    - Add new plugins (proximity, sap, wiimote, thermometer, dbusoob).
[...]

That should be fixed (removing the wiimote feature from the changelog or recompiling with --enable-wiimote) for Oneiric.
(I'm using 3.2 from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ but I know that I'm not the common case)

IMHO this should be fixed absolutely for precise (that has 3.2 kernel)
and for the Ubuntu TV (wiimote working out-of-the-box would be a nice
feature).
