Following instructions in comment #13,

Nothing.
> And try to restart bluetooth daemon

Nothing.

> sudo cp /lib/firmware/ath3k-3.fw /lib/firmware/ath3k-3.fw.orig

There was no /lib/firmware/ath3k-3.fw, only a /lib/firmware/ath3k-1.fw.
There was a /var/lib/dkms/ar3011/1.1ryu2.4/build/ath3k-3.fw however, so
I swapped that in:
cp /lib/firmware/ath3k-1.fw /lib/firmware/ath3k-1.fw-bak
cp /var/lib/dkms/ar3011/1.1ryu2.4/build/ath3k-3.fw /lib/firmware/
[added btusb and ath3k to modprobe.d/blacklist, and reboot]
Same as before:
root at buzz# modprobe btusb
