[Bug 985201] [NEW] logging out the mouse starts to lag on the login screen

Public bug reported:

When logging out from the desktop to the login screen, the mouse lags and halts. After some time it starts to work normally again. When typing the password, the mouse starts to lag again.
I am expecting smooth mouse movement. No lagging or halting.
