I like to add that this is not a bluez related problem really. Although
the keyboard presents itself, also, as bluetooth keyboard with the
included dongle the keyboard is not a bluetooth keyboard anymore. It
works fine during bios (when there is certainly no bluez involved. Yet
just after booting in for example the live environment the keyboard
stops working.

Something during boot effectively turns the keyboard Off.
