Using Mainline Kernel: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.37.6-natty/
works for me. 

You have to choose this kernel on booting the pc (after download and 
install).

PS: We have to wait for a stable kernel, the kernels 2.6.38 and 2.6.39 are 
little bit buggy i think.
