I can confirm that the problem is not limited to Apple bluetooth
keyboard. I have a Logitech Mediaboard Pro that used to work fine with
Lucid. It worked fine with Maverick initially, but after an upgrade (I
don't know which one though) it stopped working.

I have been using the gnome bluetooth manager. The keyboard pairs just
fine, it even shows success. However it never works. I either get 'host
is down' or some 'not authorized' error.

Are there any workarounds to this issue.
