I would like to have some information.
Could do the following?
Open a terminal
killall bluetooth-applet
bluetooth-applet -d
Try again the Browse operation.
post the output here.

You can also try
/usr/share/doc/obexd-client/examples/list-folders xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (where xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx is the address of your phone).
