Hi, this is what I got:

$ egrep 'DOWN|DESK' ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs
XDG_DESKTOP_DIR="$HOME/Escritorio"
XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR="$HOME/Escritorio"

(BTW, "Escritorio" is the Spanish word for "Desktop".)

Should I change the XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR to "$HOME/Download" and try again?
