Since upgrading to Jaunty, I get this same error with Skype on two
different computers (a laptop and a desktop).  I have no sound on skype
on either.  Changing to SoundOut device in the Skype settings has no
effect - I have tried all the options to no luck.  If someone has an
idea how to work around this, some assistance would be greatly
appreciated as not having skype is a real pain (occasionally forcing me
to reboot into windows!).
