3) What you expected to happen
Transferring .jpgs from phone worked in hardy, and intrepid, until mid-Oct09, approx. 

4) What happened instead

Started getting "can't parse incoming data" message; ubuntu connects
with the device (see hcitool scan output), but won't transfer files.
