I'm not sure of the protocol here  and I'm aware this is run by
volunteers (i guess) but nothing seems to have moved on this subject.
It's making the use of 9.04 untenable (along with Intel issues etc.)  It
all worked fine before in 8.04 and 8.10.....  can no one solve this
problem?  thanks
