I'm having the same problem with a mighty mouse and a keyboard.  The
mouse always prompts me for a passphrase (which I enter as 0000) and it
works from then on, unless I reboot.  I then enter 0000 again.  They
aluminum keyboard seems to take forever to reconnect, unless I restart
bluetooth by /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart.
