I can also confirm that I experiencing the same bug.

Everything works fine until I power down the mouse. At which point I have to delete the mouse from the connected device list and then re-pair the mouse with the pc before I can get it to work again. 
I am using HP-TC1100 tablet pc and the HP PC bluetooth card mouse.

This setup worked beautifully in Ubuntu 8.10 and in Windows XP.
