Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bluez-gnome

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 on Sony PS3 and i have successfully paired my
apple wireless keyboard via the Bluetooth Applet (v. 1.8) The device is
marked as trusted and it even appear as connected:

$ hcitool con
Connections:
	> ACL 00:1E:52:6D:28:C8 handle 43 state 1 lm MASTER AUTH

$ hciconfig
hci0:	Type: USB
	BD Address: 00:1D:BA:12:6F:1C ACL MTU: 384:8 SCO MTU: 64:8
	UP RUNNING PSCAN ISCAN
	RX bytes:1166775 acl:5387 sco:0 events:1073 errors:0
	TX bytes:17841 acl:730 sco:0 commands:124 errors:0

But the keyboard does not work at all. It just connects automatically
when I start typing on it, but then it does nothing.. (No key press is
detected - tried by xev ) This is the only output i found in logs
(daemon.log):

Jan  6 19:37:02 dm6 bluetoothd[4217]: link_key_request
(sba=00:1D:BA:12:6F:1C, dba=00:1E:52:6D:28:C8)

00:1E:52:6D:28:C8 is Apple wireless keyboard

Keyboard is working fine with MacBook using macos X, and using other
bluetooth devices on my Ubuntu PS3 system (like mobile phone) works out
of the box without problems so I hope it's not an hardware related
problem..

Few others (hopefully useful) console outputs:
