Confirmed with ubuntu 8.10 beta and logitech denovo edge.  It worked out
of the box in Hardy, did not work at all in Intrepid.  The bluetooth
utility didn't even see the dongle.  I modified /etc/default/bluetooth
as noted above and now it works.  This default needs to be changed.
