Well, sort of:  Just tried it two times, and got a kernel panic both times, right after I enter the pass code on the laptop and the "Bonding established" popup notification showed up :-(

However, after a reboot the phone is now in the list of bonded devices
and I can send data from the laptop to the phone.

It does not work the other way, from the phone to the laptop, though.

I would not consider this "fixed".
