<div>Hi,</div><div><br></div><div>As you may know, it appears it's now impossible for old-timers to get free Ubuntu 9.10 CDs from ShipIt. CDs are available to individual in small quantity and previous releases CDs are taken into account. So if you, like many, ordered some CDs for the previous releases, you wont be able to get more.</div>
<div><br></div><div>But; as a LoCo, we can get a free CD (see <a href="https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoGettingCds">https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoGettingCds</a>). Our Team Contact is Jan Claeys and if he hadn't yet ordered our CDs I'm pretty sure he will do it right now (the deadline for early orders is tomorrow, Oct. 23rd). Also, I don't know if some of us are Ubuntu Members (see <a href="https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Membership">https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Membership</a>) but they can also order more CDs for us. As for previous releases, people receiving CDs and those needing <span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);">them </span>(mainly for events) can coordinate transport and delivery right here, on the mailing list.</div>
<div><br></div><div>The ETA for ShipIt's CDs is two weeks after the Karmic's release date which is scheduled on October 29th. So if you need CDs before mid November, you will have to use previous release or to burn the Karmic ISO.</div>
