[Ubuntu-be] Artwork and publicity...

Heya all,

as Wouter said... I'm pulling 2 wagons: first there's the great
opportunity of artwork/printwork. We already have our rollups and flyers
(in Dutch, the French one exists but someone needs to actually ask for
them so we start printing).

There's a few possible options for flyers or publicity...
- obviously we could just make a new general flyer...
- we could also make a flyer geared at schools and/or corporations
(what's specially interesting for them? where find support? etc...)
- a flyer can be made with special attention to the cloud (Ubuntu-One)
- a flyer talking about Ubuntu as server is also an option (but I doubt
this audience needs a flyer, but maybe rather a more technical approach)

Some other ideas:
- a new presentation (in Impress or maybe even better ... Inkscape/SOZI)
with some eye catchers
- a competition to make the coolest Youtube video promoting Ubuntu in
Dutch or French. The winner gets some goodies... (f.e. a subscribtion to
Ubuntu magazine for a year, or the first T-shirt in the new model, ...)
- same idea for the coolest wallpaper

So... did these ideas trigger your curiosity? Do you feel like
participating? Get in touch - we could have a meet-up with the
interested people, or just some online discussion if meeting would be
too difficult.

Feel free to contact me (0496 45 95 41 or this mail) for questions or
suggestion.

Grtz,
Jurgen.
