Actually, you should do the reverse, unsubscribe any harvested email
addresses. Asking us to unsubscribe from your mailing is called op-out
and is not a legal practice when targeting personal email addresses in
Europe. So, by law, your are bound to remove these email addresses you
collected from this mailing list (or any other). Thank you for
complying.

I won't. This behavior show a lack of professionalism and business
ethics. Any informed business owner should know that this is an
illegal practice in Europe and an un-welcome one in most community.
There is enough FUD spread by large corporations around FOSS, I don't
need my friends to come over and complains about how amateurish and
unaware of its legal obligations this service provider was.
