[Ubuntu-be] Urgent Call for help - Ostend-Software Freedom Day2010 - Dringende hulpaanvraag - Oostende-Dag van de Vrije Software - 18/09/2010

Hi to all,

An information session "Software Freedom Day2010" is organized next 
Saturday 18/09 (10.30 - 15.00 hr.) in Ostend (municipal library Kris 
Lambert).
This is a cooperation Zandletters.be - Ubuntu-be.
The activity includes 3 simultaneous workshops focused on Office 
(OpenOffice), Internet (Firefox and antivirus Avast) and Multimedia (VLC 
and Picasa).
Hardware is using Ubuntu 10.04 and Win XP.

Unfortunately, for familial reasons, the core-team of 3 volunteers now 
reduces to only 2 volunteers for 3 booths: at least one additional 
volunteer is needed !

As the expected public is "low level" in ICT, most important is the 
human contact and simple answers to questions about FOSS and other 
gratis software.

Een informatie-sessie "Dag van de Vrije Software" wordt volgende 
Zaterdag 18/09 (10.30 - 15.00 u.) georganiseerd te Oostende (bibliotheek 
Kris Lambert).
Hiermee werken Zandletters.be en Ubuntu-be samen.
De activiteit omvat drie gelijktijdige workshops over Kantoor 
(OpenOffice), Internet (Firefox en antivirus Avast) en Multimedia (VLC 
en Picasa).
Hardware met Ubuntu 10.04 en Win XP.

Spijtig genoeg, voor familiale redenen is de ploeg van 3 vrijwilligers 
nu herleidt tot 2 personen voor 3 standen: minimum één bijkomende 
vrijwilliger is vereist.

We verwachten geen "ICT ervarend" publiek, meest belangrijk is menselijk 
contact en eenvoudige antwoorden op allerlei vragen over FOSS en andere 
gratis software.

Als je kan helpen, gelieve mij dringend verwittigen via email.
