Hi all,
Given the 'cloud' vision visible in the recent ubuntu distro's (couchDB
et al) I thought this summer-reading-club into the technical depths of
nosql technology could be of interest for some people on this list.
Feel free to pass on.

Hi all,
I'm looking to create some traction wrt. the (in our opinion) very cool
"NoSQL Summer" initiative. The idea is to have a bi-weekly reading club
on NoSQL-related scientific papers, to explain, to annotate, to discuss
and to jointly learn as we go along.
You'll find more info on the NoSQL Summer website:
http://nosqlsummer.org/city/ghent and the list of papers at
http://nosqlsummer.org/papers.
Reading group meetings will be held in English, so if you have
French-spoken geek friends do not hesitate to pass the message on.
We'll start the 24th of June (Thursday) on a bi-weekly basis over Summer
(ending in September). No Java nor HBase nor Outerthought focus, we're
just there to facilitate and provide a room and some refreshments, and
to learn as much from it as everybody will do. If some other company
would like to pitch in as a co-sponsor, that would be great!
Anyway, it would be awesome if you would like to pass on the message.
And even better yet: to join us in the reading group, of course.
Thanks,
