IRC meeting report
Present at the IRC meeting 30/09/2009 (in random order) : JanC,

1. Past and future events

 a.27/09 Dipro Hasselt - report -- report and pictures are in the wiki
It was a successful event for Ubuntu promotion in Hasselt area, the 
comimtment of 4 new well motivated volunteers has been very positive and 
we had good contacts with visitors.
As in previous fairs, we had contacts with people teaching Ubuntu in 
their environment. We should develop exchange of information with and 
support these teachers. For this purpose we need an ad-hoc team with 
people knowing the education problematic : the team, based on teachers 
from the Mailing List, should provide support and help to promote Ubuntu 
in the education. Interested readers should take initiatives.

 b. Next Events in October
Dipro Kortrijk 04/10 : Jan is in charge : everything seems to be OK.

Dipro Charleroi 11/10 : Cedric is in charge : the preparation is going 
well.
A call for help was sent on the InterLug Mailing List.

Dipro Ostend 18/10 - in charge jean7491, the preparation is started. We 
need volunteers.

Dipro Oostmalle 25/10 - in charge (?), the preparation is started. We 
need volunteers and a local coordinator.

Dipro fair in Ghent 08/11 - volunteers, please add your name in the 
wiki, 2 names are already in. We need a local coordinator from Ghent area.

Release party in Ghent 21/11
We have to start now the preparation of the release party : we need 
volunteers help for the organization/preparation of the party. mimor 
will post a request for help in the Mailing List.
The Release party will be a topic for the next IRC meeting.
