Here the report of the last IRC meeting.
Next IRC meeting on Wednesday 27/05/2009 at 21 h. on #ubuntu-be --
irc.freenode.net.

Present at the IRC meeting 20/05/2009 (in random order) :
JanC, wamukota, jean7491, nightrid3r, pep (student in Liege, welcome), Vigo

1. Update preparation booth at Dipro Antwerpen (24/05)
The preparation is nearly completed (manning and material) without
problem (see wiki page).
Nightrid3r will bring a sitecom wifi repeater (and 2 linksys WRT54GL for
bridging) to try to connect with wireless Antwerpen (sportpaleis is only
200M away from the fair).
Last IRC coordination between participants tomorrow at 21 h.
The preparation of the booth in Schijnpoortzaal will start at 9 h., it
should be ready at 10 h.

2. Other events
22/08/2009 : InterLug barbecue organized by the LUG lilit.be,
( http://lilit.be/wiki/index.php?page=BbqInterLug2009 ), location and
details are not yet known.
06/09/2009 : Dipro fair in Ghent.
13/09/2009 : Dipro fair in Antwerpen.

3. Review of promotion material
A lot of material is available at http://spreadubuntu.neomenlo.org/ for
the development of new products.
When improved and accepted our realisations (poster and flyers) will be
submit at spreadubuntu.
We are now working on an improved poster "Free your pc" (dutch and
french) and new flyers.
Several designs (flyer) are proposed in the wiki and the mailing-list
(Matthew and Steven).
there are different concepts about the content of the flyer, with more
or less text and information
With another experience in Antwerpen, new ideas about promotion material
are expected.

4.Update Cleaning and Update Wiki and website
Website : pages event-team are outdated. A bug report is introduced, but
need an additional translation in German (pep, when possible).
An agenda is planned for the website, with events for both geeks &
non-geeks.
Wiki : process of updating of the page BelgianTeam/Responsibility is
ongoing with confirmation of existing names.

5. Next IRC meeting
The next IRC meeting is on 27/05/2009 at 21 h.

Remark : day and hour of the meeting can be adapted for a larger
participation.
If you think to know a better meeting time, please propose it !

Suggestion of topic for the next meeting : relation with the LUG's and
other computer clubs ? How can we establish and/or maintain a better
relation, contact and exchange with these groups ?
