[Ubuntu-be] Hardy Release Party 03 May 2008

New Update about the Hardy Release Party.

The program has not changed much the last 2 weeks, there will be:
- Ubuntushop where you can find Ubuntu goodies like t-shirts, posters, the
custom made Hardy Heron cd, ...
- demo-pc's for the newbies so they can try Ubuntu without having to install
it on their pc.
- installation help for people who are afraid to install Ubuntu on their own
machine and presentations.
- There will be some companies showing their products working on Ubuntu.
- The most important part of the Release Party will be the bar where
everybody can meet Ubuntero's and computer enthusiasts and talk about
his/her experiance.

Electromarket.be is working hard to get the eeePC on the Hardy Release
Party. Until now it's not 100% sure if Asus will get the eeePC in time in
Belgium, but if it's in Belgium we will have it at the Hardy Release Party
and we will be the first  fair to show the eeePC. elektromarket has promised
me that the eeePC will be available with Ubuntu.

We need Ubuntero's to help newbies with their installation and explain them
how Ubuntu works, help them with their problems if any ;) So we would like
to see all of you. Even the French speaking Ubuntero's.

The Ubuntushop will be high on my to do list for the next couple of weeks,
I'll keep you informed about the progress.
