Well, my sister actually called them, and they claim not to support
Linux. However, it works without a problem for me. The cardreader
(digipass) does not need a connection to the computer, so no
installation of any software is required. Unlike the previous method,
no special information is stored on your computer (except for some
browser cookies), so you can login from the most basic computer with
a web browser installed (I don't know the Java(script) requirements).
I know the hardware is the same as used by Dexia (and maybe Fortis,
Rabobank and others?), so if it works for them, it should work for
KBC also.
And they are already being distributed now, I got mine last month.
