I think you're a bit confused about MediaWiki and Wikipedia. The
software used by Wikipedia is freely available for anyone to use. You
can install Mediawiki on your own machine, and run your own wiki.
Therefore, the user bases have no inner relation. It's not because
you're running Mediawiki on your server, all the users from Wikipedia
are automatically registered with your wiki.
So, if you want a user on this edubuntu site, you'll have to register
there too.
