[Ubuntu-be] introduction

I think I didn't introduce myself yet.


So here it comes...

I'm Christophe, 23y old and finishing my studies (Industrial Engineering
in electronics - ICT)
It has been approx 4 year's I've been using linux as main OS.
I'm a debian (and of course ubuntu) and gentoo-guy, but also used SuSE
for some time . I don't think I'm a "you should use my distro"-person,
but more "heey, look at this this and this, nice.. isn't it?"

- From the beginning of my Linux experience I'm a promotor of FLOSS and of
course Linux. My motivation is not necessary get people immediately to
Linux, but first to show them what different products exist. Show them
that they have the 'freedom of choice' between all these different
solutions. Whatever the choice about the OS, I'm prepared to help those
that need help with using/installing/promoting Free Software.
I do think that ubuntu has a great potential to reach 'normal people'.
I do also think that the education is an important sector that needs
special care and attention, so that it can teach their students to think
free (software-related-freedom).


Some people might know me from various opensource or linux meetings,
others might have seen me running around during FOSDEM,
still others might have seen me on bcol (usenet),
and some of you don't know me...yet :-)
