But some times "sudo wvdial" doesn't recognize the modem. The same happens to me in windows some times. This is because of the interrupt settings of the port (as windows call it). Then what I generally do is -- reboot to windows, open nokia pc suit. Nokia pc suit can magically set the interrupt correctly and the problem is solved.
