Thanks a lot bro. It has started to make sense. BTW, how does the virus
obtain the mail ID and password? People enter them inside a browser, right?
Do they log the key strokes? In that case, how did they know which one is
password? (email ID is detectable using Regex).

Yahoo! US didn't support SMTP access for a long time, don't know about
recent updates. Are they offering free SMTP now?
