Dear Sazzad,

Relax for a bit and please mind where are you posting your possible
solutions. Pardon my sense of humor, but as this is the mailing list of
'Ubuntu Bangladesh', your solutions with Kaspersky and Rar Compression is
making a joker impression here. There are lots of ways to check a .DAT file
where it is a media data file or not in Linux. So, there is no need to hire
Windows to check a .DAT file and return to Ubuntu to play it back.

FYI, RAR is a proprietory file format. There are equally / more efficient
and free and open source compress formats like BZip Tarball and 7zip are
available on Linux platform. So, practically there is no need to pursue a
proprietary compression.

Another thing I want to add, some people may feel offensive some lines like,
"plz do ASAP". Please, be more polite. Somebody is asking for help does not
mean that he is bound to do apply your solution at your speed and your
convenience.

I believe that you had no intention to express anything egocentric. But
small mis-wordings may initiate some irrelevant, unwelcome and disturbing
arguments. I hope we all will be more careful about that.

Thank you.
