OK, I think I got your points but you're totally misled. Microsoft is just
giving software free. Are they asking or forcing people to use their
software **ONLY** ? Yes, I understand they have strategical advantage from
Dreamspark, but you're free to choose. That's what I mentioned in my email,
no?

Now be practical and look at the CS syllabus of different CS schools. They
have started covering .NET and MS technologies even before MS started MSDN
AA and Dreamspark. And still, in most universities, the situation is the
same. So, people are already trapped in MS's monopoly. Dreamspark has
nothing to do with it. And as long as Microsoft holds the place for the
largest vendor of desktop software, I don't see any change in the situation.


Look at LAMP. People are learning PHP on their own because LAMP has a huge
market in the industry. People are not idiots. They shall dump MS
technologies and learn open source technologies if they feel they have more
jobs. So, what you're suggesting is not solely true.

But you're getting off topic. I talked about MSDN AA and Dreamspark because

 If you were a Microsoft dude, you would have done the same. This is
business and this is perfectly ethical. In the capitalist economy, I do have
the right to skim the market. There is a special term in business - "blue
ocean". It dictates successful organizations always try to create
uncontested markets and exploit the monopoly.

But talking about Microsoft, Apple is the most evil company, not Microsoft.

Anyway, I hate to talk about anything other than Ubuntu in this mailing
list. But I hate even more when I see people serving distorted information
or making illogical statement. I request you to please explain why students
will be in trouble after 2013 and we can stop bragging about MS in this
thread!
