[Ubuntu-BD] Problem shutting down or rebooting ubuntu 9.10

Paste both sysctl.cfg and backup of sysctl.cfg on pastie.org.

Need to examine.

Did you change anything else?

When you try to shutdown and a blank screen shows up, did you check
/var/log/syslog in the next boot ??
