[Ubuntu-BD] Problem with ubuntu

I have some problems. I lost the icon (clicking which the current windows minimizes and the desktop shows) which was left side of the bottom of desktop. How can i get that? Now if i click to minimize a window, the window closes. What is the solution? Please tell me a solution.
