ভাই, আপনি নেট কানেক্ট করার আগেই apt-get আপডেট করবেন কি করে?
যেহেতু আপনি নেট থেকে সরাসরি সফটওয়্যার ইন্সটল করতে পারবেন না, তাই আলাদা করে
ডাউনলোড করে ইন্সটল করতে হবে।
আপনার জন্য সহজ করে এখানে ধাপে ধাপে আবার লিখি: এটা কপি করে একটা নোটপ্যাডে সেভ
করে নিয়ে মিন্টে ওপেন করুন, তাতে ফলো করতে সুবিধা হবে।
ধাপ এক:

প্রথমে উইন্ডোজে mint-files নামে একটি ফোল্ডার তৈরি করুন। তারপর নিচের ফাইলগুলো
ইন্টারনেট থেকে ডাউনলোড করে ওই ফোল্ডারে রাখুন:
(যেহেতু wvdial বা gnome-ppp কোনটাই মিন্ট ৭ বা জন্টি / উবুন্টু ৯.০৪
ডিফল্টভাবে আসে না, এইজন্য সবগুলো একবারেই ডাউনলোড করে নিচ্ছি)

ধাপ দুই:

এবার লিনাক্স মিন্টে বুট করুন। এবার সেই mint-files ফোল্ডারটি (ভেতরের ডাউনলোড
করা ফাইলগুলোসহ) কপি করে এনে রাখুন আপনার লিনাক্স মিন্ট এর ডেক্সটপে। তারপর
টার্মিনাল খুলে কমান্ড দিন (কিংবা রাইট-বাটন চেপে কপি পেস্ট করুন):
sudo dpkg -i ~/Desktop/mint-files/*.deb
এতে ফোল্ডারের ফাইলগুলে ইন্সটল হয়ে যাবে।
ধাপ তিন:

এবারে আপনার মডেমটি খুলে আবার পোর্টে লাগান। ব্যাকএন্ড-এ জিনিসগুলো অটোমেটিক
হয়ে যাবার কথা। (ইচ্ছে করেই বার বার লগ দেখার ঝামেলার দিকে যাচ্ছি না। যথা
সম্ভব শর্টকাট রাখলাম।)
ধাপ চার:

এবারে মেনু থেকে Internet > Gnome-ppp খুলুন। এরপর ওখানে আপনার সিটিসেল জুমের
লগ-ইন ডিটেইলসগুলো দিয়ে কানেক্ট করার চেষ্টা করুন।
এইভাবেই কানেক্ট হয়ে যাবার কথা।
