Dear Members,

Greetings to all! It is my great privilege to inform you one of an
initiative on “*Warm Clothes Collection Drive 2010*” is being organized by:
1° Initiative, Jagoree, Drishtipat, JAAGO Foundation, Change Bangladesh, The
Hunger Project and Ayoti Women and Children Care Organization in Bogra.

During the winter season in every year hundreds of people die of bitter cold
wave in Bangladesh (especially in the northern region) and thousands suffer
from serious respiratory conditions – all for lack of proper clothing and
shelter. While we spend days in anticipation to warmly welcome the fleeting
days of winter, there happens to be people out there who dread the
bitterness approaching them.

Without any doubt it is an impossible mission for any single individual to
try and resolve the problems that we live in. But we can try to contribute
in the limited ways we can. We urge you to take an initiative… bring change
in at least a couple of people’s lives and help us make our initiative
successful. Be part of it.

*And how can you help?*
It's simple. All you need to do is get in touch with our local collection
points, and donate your clothes or money to the designated persons.
Remember, just Tk. 500 will buy 3-4 blankets, which can potentially save 3-4
lives and pay for the hard work of around 25 person-hours for making the
blankets.
