Asking these questions personally wont benefit the community so I'm replying
this to the Ubuntu-BD list.
Your RAM is really on a low amount to run this distro of Linux. It will be
better if you use puppy linux or other lighter resource taker. Lubuntu or
Mintu with LXDE could be a good choice as well. Also hoping other guys will
suggest some appropriate options for you.

Thanks

Subject: Using Linux Debian Live CD
To: Computer Tomorrow <doctortomorrow at gmail.com>

 Hello!

I recently downloaded the Debian Lenny 201 Live CD to test it on my old
computer because I'm planning to install Debian 5.0.4 on it. It has a
Pentium III (550 MHz) processor, 192 MB RAM, 8 MB graphics memory, 20 GB HDD
with a monitor supporting 1024x768 resolution. The problem is, after the
booting is complete a blank flashing screen appears with a cross-shaped
cursor in the middle. I continues and nothing happens. I edited the command
line with 'live xdriver=fbdev', 'live xdriver=none', and 'live vga=771'. But
none of them gave any solution. How can I solve this problem and properly
run debian from the live cd?

Thank you.
