@Hafiz Imtiaz :

If you want a full GUI Solution it would be hard choice in Linux. There's no
alternative to using Dreamweaver on that regard. But, Then you can use
the *Quanta
Plus* or *Amaya (W3C standard coding)*. Of course you wont have the same
preview while editing in WYSIWIG mode but you can always use your browser as
the preview which is I think not bad.

Kompozer is not stable it will just give you pains. It will turn off by
itself while editing in WYSIWYG on most occasions.

In terms of programming point of view, using Dreamweaver makes programmers
lame, by not letting them habituate with the beauty of the code.

And for editing php and managing phpProjects your best choice would be
NetBeans(from all free applications) even in Windows!

@masnun
In Ubuntu there's actually better alternatives to Notepad++ you can use *
Vim*(#1 choice by Rasmus Lerdorf, Ben Ramsey, Linus Torvalds and many
hardcore coders), *gEdit*(for gnome users), *Kate*(KDE users), *Geany*(its
also a good one).
But best of all is NetBeans among all other free PHP IDEs, you have to
download the php version from netbean's site.

For designers, who have dreamweaver's purchased version can use via wine(not
all versions work, I haven't tried and probably wont)
