Have you tried with this: $ lsusb Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 005 Device 003: ID 10CE: EA6A MobiDATA EDGE Modem $ sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x10CE product=0xEA6A before applying wvdialconf? I haven't yet tried on MobiDATA.
