Hi guys...
why we have to meet personally to have a meeting? many loco team are
functioning on irc and many projects are collaborated on irc.
for example I know one highly active loco member who lives in Portugal but
runs Ecuador Local team from his workplace... he guides his team entirely
online...
I think we should also follow this example, and try to collaborate our work
online too.... We should have meeting irrespective of situations.... (if not
physical meeting atleast online meeting)
I personally think sometimes online meeting is best option for:
- saves time (don't have to travel from one side of the capital to
another side),
- convenient (comfort of home, can take a break for an hours for a quick
meeting, don't have to cancel other obligations)
- improves collaboration (any member from any part of the country can
participate, previously few were complaining that BLUA is not active outside
Dhaka, this is the chance??)
- easy to monitor (banning, kicking, giving voice, taking voice etc etc
these features can sometimes become handy)
- easy to keep records (just save the log, or in case of ubuntu-bd we
already have online log)
I can go on and on, but I don't think I need to say much because most of the
senior members are already aware of the benefits of irc system.
*so what do you say about online meeting on our irc channel #blua or
#ubuntu-bd on irc.freenode.net?*
if you agree please set a date & timing for online meeting....
