[Ubuntu-BD] Problem on Ubuntu

Dear all,
After a long process, at last, I was able to upgrade ubuntu from 9.04 to 9.10. But the current problem is, after putting the password on log on option, the screen shows only a white screen, nothing else. I can't understand the problem. What should I do now?

If any member of this group lives in Gulshan area, please let me know. I can go to you directly with laptop so that I can fix the problem asap. Thanks to all.
