You can post here what you found as a result of those two commands. We are
not magicians to know what you saw as messages at your machine. :)

Windows users please dont compare it with Ubuntu. Its just a different
Operating System. At some context more user friendly or easier.

In most cases you can take linux/ubuntu etc are made for networking
friendly, but Ubuntu is one of the most friendly linux so far.
