[Ubuntu-BD] Running LAMPP

Hello all,

I have downloaded LAMPP 1.4.10. It has the following directories and files
in /home/masnun/lampp :



lib
tmp
htdocs
cgi-bin
bin
RELEASENOTES
error
logs
sbin
..
backup
phpsqliteadmin
share
modules
var
phpmyadmin
.
etc
icons
lampp
licenses

I tried the following:


masnun at ubuntu:~$ cd lampp
masnun at ubuntu:~/lampp$ sudo ./lampp start
cat: /opt/lampp/lib/VERSION: No such file or directory
Starting XAMPP for Linux ...
./lampp: line 90: /opt/lampp/share/lampp/nogroupcheck: No such file or
directory
cat: /opt/lampp/lib/VERSION: No such file or directory
cat: /opt/lampp/lib/VERSION: No such file or directory
./lampp: line 451: /opt/lampp/share/lampp/phpstatus: No such file or
directory
XAMPP: Starting Apache...
./lampp: line 179: /opt/lampp/logs/apachestart.log: No such file or
directory
XAMPP: Error 1! Couldn't start Apache!
./lampp: line 186: /opt/lampp/share/lampp/diagnose: No such file or
directory
cat: /opt/lampp/lib/VERSION: No such file or directory
./lampp: line 204: /opt/lampp/bin/mysql.server: No such file or directory
XAMPP: Starting MySQL...
cat: /opt/lampp/lib/VERSION: No such file or directory
XAMPP for Linux started.

But my localhost is inaccessible. Please help me out.
