Can I say something???

the thing is going against popular is not easy but it has to start somewhere
and practice these things among us, sadly we ourselves don't follow this
rule.. how many of us don't have proprietary codecs installed to run mp3
files on the go?

even people on this list have been guilty of sending proprietary file
format.....  for example .rar format it pisses me off since I have not
installed any non-free codecs, (only non-free product on my system is flash
plugin gnash does not work in my pc)...

why would they send me files in non-free format when they know I don't have
any proprietary softwares/codecs to open them  and I will have to install
those thing??

first follow yourself then urge other to follow that example
