[ Ubuntu-BD ] Fade up from UBUNTU

But please!  The fact remains that I couldn't even install Ubuntu from
the DVD I got from the Hardy Heron Party. It shows the first page
which says to chose and reboot. After reboot the original desktop is
back! I checked my DVD drive with another DVD and it works alright. My
PC's configuration:

Pentium IV  2.26 GHz  ! MB RAM
Present OS: Windows XP
Free Space in C: drive   7.47 GB

Can you please help?
