[ Ubuntu-BD ] download software for ubuntu ??

If you are looking for a GUI based Download manager *d4x* might be a good
choice.
if not then you can use *wget* or *curl* from terminal, also there is a GUI
front-end for wget named *gwget* which is okish

My choice Firefox + Flashgot + wget/gwget
